In recognition of technical innovations, NiMCO was
granted a U.S. patent for their rotary cap applicator system which applies and
seals plastic fitments to gable-top containers. This system is used on many
gable-top machines now on the market to apply spouts to mini, quart, and
half-gallon cartons.
The CAP-PAC®
spout application system includes an anvil design which grasps a spout, inserts
it from the interior of the container, and welds the spout in a single
operation. This concept provides complete mechanical control of the spout
position and significantly improves the quality and reliability of the sealing
process.
